Aligned with manufacturers who produce quality fittings, Fusion QLD offers an extensive range of Polyethylene (PE) Long Spigot Fittings that are suitable for gas, water, civil, mining and irrigation applications. Made to AS4129 standards, ISO9001 Accredited with Watermark Certification our range of PE Long Spigot Fittings are available in sizes from 20mm – 1200mm.

Polyethylene (PE) Pipe and Fittings are typically black in colour and are more corrosion resistant and more durable than other products. The PE100 polyethylene resin used in Fusion Qld’s PE Long Spigot Fittings are pre-compounded, complying with the national and international standards of AS/NZS 4129. Antioxidants are used to inhibit oxidation of the polymer at the compounding stage and during subsequent processing.

PE Pipe and Fittings has an operating temperature of -40°C and +80°C. For temperatures less than 20°C it is convention to use the 20°C hydrostatic design stress. In applications that dip below freezing, additional care is required to be taken due to the reduction in the impact strength of the PE. When PE pipelines operate at temperatures above 20°C, the pressure ratings (PN) must be revised.

A pipe’s ‘SDR’ refers to the nominal ratio of outside diameter to wall thickness. A pipes ‘PN’ refers to its pressure rating at 20° Celsius (Mpa multiplied by 10). PE pipe is categorized by its size and rating; the higher the PN rating, the thicker the wall. As a result thicker walls allow for higher pressure applications. All PE pipe has the same outer diameter no matter what the rating.

Our range of PE Long Spigot Fittings are subjected to continuous testing and control from the start to the end of the production process. All PE Fittings are approved to the suitable Australian Standards.

Fusion Qld offers an extensive range of Polyethylene (PE) Long Spigot Fittings available in sizes from 20mm – 1200mm from both our Queensland and Victorian locations.
